JLSB 2016-2017 Board of Directors

President: Lindsay Sanger

Lindsay joined the Junior League of South Brevard, Inc. in 2012. She has previously served on Membership Enhancement member,Vice President of Fundraising and President Elect. Previously she was a member of the JLCNB, JLDB and Sub-Junior League Member in St. Augustine, FL and The Haven for Children Board of Director.


Lindsay has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Central Florida and upon graduating in 2003 became a REALTOR. She is currently the Broker and Owner of RE/MAX Solutions focusing on real estate sales in greater Brevard County.

Lindsay is a Florida Native, originally from St. Augustine, FL and now resides in Satellite Beach, Florida with her husband Prent and their family. They have three handsome boys Hudson-11, Vance-8 and Sutton-2 and German Shephard, Indy. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, watching her son's play sports, volunteering at the boys school and youth sports, being out on the water and community involvement.

   
   

Executive Vice President: Amy Jagdmann
Amy joined the Junior League of South Brevard, Inc. in 2011. Most recently, she has served as Vice President of Membership and prior to that served as Membership Enhancement Chair.

Amy has a Bachelor’s of Arts in both Political Science as well as Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, as well as a degree in Nursing. She is currently an RN on the cardiac and interventional PCU at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne. 

Amy is originally from North Carolina, but began calling Florida home in 2007 when she moved here with her husband Mike to start their careers.  She is a mother of 2 beautiful children, Lucas and Olivia.  Amy enjoys the beach, shopping, traveling, and cheering on the Tar Heels.




Executive Vice President Elect : Ginna Roberts 

Ginna joined the Junior League of South Brevard, Inc. in 2011. Most recently, she has served as Membership Director on the Management Team. Prior to that she has served on the Membership Development Committee, and as its chair.

Ginna has a Bachelor’s of Arts in Art History from the University of the South, Sewanee, as well as a Masters in Education in Educational Leadership from UCF. She currently enjoys supporting the South Brevard community, and being a stay at home mom to her two kids, Mia and Teddy. 

Ginna is originally from Baltimore, but began calling Florida home in 2003 when she moved to Boca Raton as an administrator, teacher, and dorm parent at Saint Andrew’s School.  She found her way up to the Space Coast full time in 2011 with her husband, Edward, and currently resides in Satellite Beach. Ginna enjoys event planning, traveling, art, and family.




Treasurer: Christina Firriolo
Christina joined the Junior League of South Brevard, Inc. in 2014. Most recently she served as a member of the Membership Enhancement committee. Prior to that she was in her provisional year with the JLSB.

Christina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Central Florida and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Webster University. She is also a certified Project Management Professional (PgMP) from the Project Management Institute. She is currently working as a Financial Controller for Northrop Grumman Corporation and is also a member of the Space Coast Women in Defense.

Christina is a native Floridian and resides in Melbourne. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, reading, the beach and spin classes. 

 


Secretary: Maxine Suchoski 

Maxime joined Junior League of South Brevard, Inc. in 2014. She has served on the Leadership Education and Development Committee. 

She is a native of Melbourne, FL. She is the Marketing and Sales Director for Victoria Landing, a waterfront resort assisted living community located in downtown Eau Gallie. She volunteers with several community organizations, especially those who focus on the needs of seniors. She sat on the board of directors for The Florida Assisted Living Association of Brevard. She is also involved in helping develop The Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy Alumni Association. 

 



Nominating Director: Nikki Olsen

Nikki became a member of the JLSB in 2010.  She has held the positions of Membership Development Chair-Elect, Membership Development Chair, 5K Chair, and Placement/Nomination Committee. The reason Nikki joined the League was to meet people the Brevard County area while partnering with an organization focused on supporting the community.  Nikki learned volunteerism is a vital part of any community through an internship with the United Way of the Wabash Valley in Terre Haute, Indiana while in college at Indiana State University.

Nikki holds a Bachelor of Science majoring in Marketing and a Master of Business Administration from Indiana State University. Currently, she is employed at CMS Mechanical and is an account manager for several major customers.

Nikki grew up in Indiana and moved to the Space Coast in 2009.  She lives in Palm Bay with her husband.  Nikki enjoys spending her free time with friends and family, as well as, paddle boarding.


At-Large Director: Kathryn Staczek Rudloff 

Kathryn joined the Junior League of Greater Orlando in 2007, and transferred to the Junior League of South Brevard in 2008.  She has spent most of her league career helping to plan fundraisers, including the annual JLGO gala, JLSB Festival of Trees, JLSB Rummage Roundup, and was the chair for the inaugural JLSB Re-Run 5k.  She has twice served as JLSB VP of Fundraising, and spent two years on the Placement and Nominating committee, one of which as PN Director.  Now a sustainer, Kathryn is still committed to the League and its mission of developing women to be community leaders.  

Kathryn holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from The Ohio State University and a Masters in Political Management from George Washington University.  She spent eight years working in Republican politics in Washington DC, California and Florida.  While earning her Master's degree, she worked for two prominent Capitol Hill leadership offices, the National Republican Congressional Committee and the House Republican Conference.  She left DC to follow her passion for campaigning to California, where she was a Deputy Field Director for the California Republican Party.  She then moved to Florida, where she assisted in a State House special election in April and then joined the presidential campaign of Mayor Rudy Giuliani as his Florida Director of Field Operations.  After Mayor Giuliani resigned from the race in early 2008, Kathryn became the Campaign manager and later District Director for Congressman Bill Posey. 

Since 2010, Kathryn has enjoyed being a stay at home mom for her two small children, as well as volunteering with the League and The Haven for Children. In 2016 she began working part time as Executive Director of Business Voice Political Committee.

She and her husband, Alex Rudloff, enjoy boating, travel and all things Disney

 

At-Large Director: Liz Moran-Young

Liz joined the Junior League of South Brevard in 2011 after relocating from Tampa with her husband.    In 2012 she has held the Chair elect position for The Festival of Trees and then lead Chair in 2013.  She also held the Chair position for the Fueling kids program in 2015.

Liz was a member of the senior leadership team with Busch Entertainment Corp and then Sea World Parks and Entertainment prior to moving the Brevard area.   Following her passion for fitness Liz currently holds a position as an ACE CPT, ACE fitness instructor and Red Cross swim coach with Health First.

Fund Development Director: Sara Moallem-Wood

Sara joined the Junior League of South Brevard, Inc. in 2013. Most recently, she has served as Secretary, on the Board of Directors and as a Placement Advisor. Prior to that she was Chair of Fund Development. She has a passion for the impact the League makes in the community and especially loves the training and empowerment of women that the League stands for.

Sara holds a Bachelors of Social Work and Masters in Clinical Social Work both from The Florida State University. She is currently working with Hospice of Health-First and as  a REALTOR in her family business Moallem Properties.

Sara is originally from the Space Coast and now resides in Palm Bay with her husband Ben and their three fur babies. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, shopping, cooking, family time, Disney and cheering on the Seminoles

 

 

Membership Director: Jessica Cassone

Jessica joined the Junior League of South Brevard, Inc. in 2013. In her time with the League she has served on the Festival of Trees, 5K, Ways and Means committees along with chairing Membership Enhancement and was recognized as Volunteer of the Year in 2015. In addition to her current role on the Management Team, she is also serving as Chair Elect for the State Public Affairs Committee for the 2016-2017 year.

Jessica received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Central Florida and is currently an Administrator for VIP America Home Health. A Space Coast native, she currently lives in Melbourne with her daughter Caroline. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, shopping, and all things Walt Disney World!







Community Director: Heather Eley
     
Heather is in her second year as an active member with the JLSB.  Currently, she is Director of Community, overseeing programs such as Fueling Kids and Kids in the Kitchen.  She joined the League to meet new friends, learn more about the community, and to continue her lifelong passion of volunteering.  In her first year as active member, she worked on the Membership Development Committee recruiting and training provisional members.   

Heather has a B.A. in Art History from the University of the South (Sewanee, TN) and a Masters in Museum Management and Art History from the University of South Carolina.  She has worked with a number of nonprofits in the southeast, but is currently staying at home and working the mommy circuit with her one year old son.  

Heather is originally from Georgia and moved to Florida in 2012 with her husband, Daniel, a native Melbournite.  Since then, they have opened Eley Family Dentistry on Eau Gallie.  Heather enjoys traveling, reading, cooking, and spending time with her family.



Communications Director: Karyn Barber

Karyn joined the Junior League of South Brevard, Inc. in 2013.  She moved to Melbourne in June 2013 and joined the League as a way to connect with women in the area who share a passion for being involved with their community.  Since joined the League Karyn has served on the Membership Development Committee and is now the Communications Director.

Karyn has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication Studies and a Master of Arts in Integrated Marketing and Communication with a concentration in Project Management.  She works for the City of Palm Bay as the Community Information Coordinator.  Karyn’s job is very similar to her role in the Junior League, allowing her to interact daily with the community through outreach and education.

Karyn is originally from Jupiter Florida but moved to Melbourne from Tallahassee where she lived for ten years as she and her husband went to school.  If you can’t find Karyn in Brevard County on the weekends it is because she travels to Tallahassee frequently to cheer on the FSU Seminoles.

 



Sustainer Director: Kathy Along

Kathy joined the JLSB in 2007 because she admired the projects in which the League was involved, especially Festival of Trees. She served on a variety of committees during her active tenure, including FOT, KITK, RRU, CRPD and PN.

Born in Arlington, VA, Kathy earned a B.A. in Spanish with a minor in Art from the University of Mary Washington, and a M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction in ESL/Bilingual Education from George Mason University. She taught Spanish in Prince William Co., VA, where she met her husband Jim, a Special Agent with the F.B.I. They married and she relocated to New Jersey, where she taught ESL at Mercer Co. Community College and Rider University. She later became a top-grossing Jazzercise franchisee. Jim’s job moved the family to Brevard Co. in 2004.

Kathy’s children have each volunteered for 6 years at FOT. Gina is a senior nursing student at FGCU in Ft. Myers, and Joe is a freshman at Rice University in Houston. Kathy enjoys a vigorous daily yoga practice, fashion, visual arts, blues music, watching sports with her husband and travel.



Placement Director: Kristin Schroeder

Kristin joined the Junior League of South Brevard, Inc. in 2011. This is her second year as the Placement Director.  Last year she was the Festival of Trees Chair and prior to that she has served on the Placement and Nominating Committee and the FOT committee for 2 years. 

Kristin has a Bachelor’s of Health Sciences from the University of Florida and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine. She is presently enrolled in a graduate certificate program in Community College Education at the University of Central Florida. She is presently the Program Manager for a developing Physical Therapist Assistant Program at Eastern Florida State College. In addition, she continues to work clinically as a Physical Therapist at Health First Hospitals.

Kristin is originally from Melbourne and was first introduced to the League when her mother, now a sustainer, was an active member. In her free time, she enjoys spending as much time possible with her husband, Daniel and daughter, Annabelle.
