(Adopted Fall 1985, Revised Fall 1990, Last Review Fall 2001)
The Junior Leagues of Florida recognize that the population of Florida is increasing at an unprecedented rate and that this growth is impacting the state's economy, infrastructure and natural environment. We also recognize the need to regulate this rapid growth in a responsible manner, providing an equitable balance between economic interests and environmental interests. To that end, we support planning, funding and implementing measures which achieve that balance while preserving and conserving our natural resources.
